Mutoh will preview the new XpertJet1682UR roll-to-roll UV LED printer at drupa

MUTOH Europe, the EMEA HQ of MUTOH INDUSTRIES, will preview the new XpertJet1682UR at drupa.
This machine is Mutoh’s first roll-to-roll UV LED printer and is based on the award-winning XpertJet printer series.
The XpertJet1682UR is a dual-headed, 64”-wide printer and uses Mutoh’s US61 series inks available in CMYK, White, and Varnish 800ml ink packs.
Mutoh’s US61 series inks are free from SVHC1 and CMR (no cancerogenic, mutagenic, or reproduction toxic substances) category 1 (substances of very high concern) substances.
Featuring two 8-channel monoblock 1440 nozzle printheads in a staggered setup and two 4-inch UV LED lamps, the new launch achieves print resolutions of up to 1440 x 1440dpi.
The press can produce five-layer graphics without media pullback and offers enhanced UX through multiple automated calibrations, bi-directional alignment, media feed adjustment, and more.
Other solutions on show at drupa include the award-winning XpertJet SR PRO 54” and 64” sign and display printers, as well as the XpertJet661UF A2+ size desktop printer for direct-to-shape applications.
Mutoh will also be showing the new XpertJet1462UF A1+ size high-productivity 6-colour flatbed printer and its ValueJet628MP 24” roll-to-roll and ValueJet1628MH 64” hybrid models for direct-to-substrate printing.
Drupa 2024 will take place from May 28th to June 7th in the Dusseldorf Exhibition Centre, Germany.
