Braillo addresses demand with new solutions
Braillo, a specialist in the large production braille printer segment, has moved to address an increasing demand for braille worldwide by rolling out a range of new embossing solutions.

The new Braillo 450 S2 and 600 S2 are available with three-year warranty
The Braillo 450 S2 and 600 S2 complete the company’s family of tractor feed / fanfold braille printers, and follow up on the successful launch of the Braillo 300 S2 production printer last year.
In a statement, Braillo says: “In recent years, the demand for braille worldwide has increased, and the need for a true, high quality, ‘entry level’ production braille printer at an affordable price point was identified.
“At Braillo we understand that every business is different, and these printers each balance performance goals with budget requirements, without sacrificing quality.”
The new Braillo 450 S2 is a production braille printer that has been designed for users that have increased output demands over our 300 S2, but do not need the high production of our 600 series printers. Users will benefit from the ability to emboss at speeds of up to 600 CPS, or 1,800 pages per hour.

The Braillo 450 S2 features the same chassis as the 300 S2, but also boasts upgraded internal components for higher dot quality and dependability. In addition, unique to this model is the option to upgrade to the Braillo 600 SR, which would permit the use of braille paper rolls and a braille paper stacker— both of which Braillo says will help to minimise production costs.
