With talk of ordering a second machine, Mida have been impressed with its production and resolution quality.

Mike Smith, owner of Mida Sign Services, says: “This investment has changed our thinking about the way we work and we can see the huge potential to increase, improve and maximise our production services across the board.

“The Ricoh Gen 5 print heads in the Signracer have taken digital printing direct to substrate into a new sphere on quality and on price. With these enhanced capabilities the company is adding a new level to its already impressive wide format capability.”

Smith adds: “In the short time we have had the machine we have seen how efficiently it prints direct to multiple substrates such as ACM, Foamex and Correx.”

Scott Armitage, managing director at SSE Worldwide, says: “We are blown away by the reaction from customers to the capability of this machine. Mida Sign Services is already looking at a second machine.

“They are telling us that no machine they have or have looked at comes near the Signracer’s performance and cost effectiveness. It is a real bonus receiving such positive feedback from our customers.”
