Brunel Engraving’s Corian plaques can now feature photographic imagery

The move follows a key trend in the sign industry for personalisation, and will see Brunel Engraving’s popular commemorative and memorial plaques gain more versatility. The plaques are ideal for remembering loved ones as well as commemorating events.

Corian has made a big impact on our market and is selling extremely well

“We are now able to offer the opportunity to feature photographic images of a loved one or indeed a treasured pet together with chosen words engraved as a lasting tribute on a material which retains its finish and doesn’t dull with age,” says Martyn Wright, managing director of Brunel Engraving.

The plaques are made from a mixture of acrylic resin and natural minerals, and come in a variety of natural stone finishes. Different sizes are available and come complete with screw fixings and domed caps.

Brunel Engraving has found its Corian Photo Plaques have been popular with trade and end customers.

Wright continues: “Corian has made a big impact on our market and is selling extremely well. The trade love it because it’s a great product to sell as it looks like natural stone but it reacts to the elements better than stone. It’s comparable in price but it keeps its looks for longer being non-porous, stain resistant, seamless, repairable and renewable and heat resistant.

“The addition of the photographic image option for the Corian selection has increased the customer’s choice and added another element to our offer.”
