INDASOL solves winter signage blues

The operations manager of INDASOL has spoken out over the challenges of installing signage in the winter due to colder weather conditions, which makes bonding more difficult.

INDASOL’s 900 series of adhesives can be applied with a standard hand gun for long-term bonds

However, Andy Mordue believes this will no longer be a problem because of INDASOL’s new range of high tack tapes, adhesives, and primers.

He explains that the range has been ‘developed to provide the sign professional with the confidence they need to achieve the best high strength long term bond on the most challenging of surfaces’.

The company’s UHB9120G, advised for heavy duty fixing, combined with the PR100 surface primer creates a strong bond that Mordue says can replace screws, rivets, and even welding.

The INDASOL range of sign fixing products offers the sign-maker a one stop supplier for UHB Structural Tapes, Double Sided Tapes and Foams, Plastic Welding Adhesives and the Revolutionary Sign Block

INDASOL’s 900 series combined with primer 1960 claims to have excellent long term strength, durability, and is easy to use with a standard hand gun.

For bonding to glass, the UHB12100C, when combined with INDASOL’s new glass primer, provides structural strength with a clear bond line. This means that if lights are to be used, they can pass through the UHB12100C without any distortion.

Mordue concludes: “The INDASOL range of sign fixing products offers the sign-maker a one stop supplier for UHB Structural Tapes, Double Sided Tapes and Foams, Plastic Welding Adhesives and the Revolutionary Sign Block.

"Located in the West Midlands, INDASOL service the whole of the UK offering free of charge on site technical support and next day delivery.”
