After listening to their customers’ desire for more unique colour options, 3M has added twelve gloss metallics and six satins to its selection of finishes, all of which can be seen on its website.

These include Atlantis Blue, Atomic Teal, Fiery Orange, and Dragon Fire in the gloss format, as well as Ocean Shimmer, Bitter Yellow, Perfect Blue and Mystique Blue in the satin format. The new colours add to the existing gloss, satin, matte, brushed metal, and metallic formats, giving customers more options in their designs.

3M 1080 is a removable dual-layer premium cast film that has good rigidity, which makes it easier to handle. They incorporate Controltac Adhesive with Comply Version 3 Air Release Technologies which enables the applicator to reposition and slide the film to the optimal position. This also ensures the surface is bubble-free once pressure is applied in the final stages of application.

The opaque wraps are ideal for hiding high-contrast surfaces and are suitable for full or partial wraps. They are also available in a wider roll width of 1,524mm which ensures the joins cannot be seen for a smoother finish. The 3M Wrap Film Series 1080 is available from distributors William Smith and Spandex.
