Viscom Frankfurt 2014 attracted more than 10,000 visitors from a host of countries

The event, which took place in the German city from November 5th to 7th, attracted a range of visitors from a host of countries. Vogt tells SignLink that VHF had been keen to capitalise on this wide-ranging visitor list and harness as much interest as possible.

“Our aim is to provide sign-makers with a CNC milling machine that is really universally applicable and easy to operate,” Vogt tells SignLink . “We want to enable the user to perform milling and cutting tasks on one machine without having to exchange the machining unit.

It should not be the only reason to use a tool because it is straight ahead. This knowledge is imparted with the tool advice on our stand where suitable tools are determined, explained and demonstrated

“Another aim was to provide sign-makers with the right tools for each application. In order to work quickly and rationally, a sign-maker needs to know what tool to use to machine a certain material.

“It should not be the only reason to use a tool because it is straight ahead. This knowledge is imparted with the tool advice on our stand where suitable tools are determined, explained and demonstrated.”

In terms of what proved popular at the show, Vogt cited the firm’s milling machines with the multi unit as the products that attracted the most interest.

“The milling machines with the multi unit as described above attracted great interest such as the VHF tools,” Vogt explains. “A representative selection from more than 1,000 cutting edge geometries was displayed in six show cases.”
