The MTEX Vision is available now and can be viewed at the MTEX Technical Training Centre in Porto, Portugal, while the MTEX Blue will be available for shipping from January 2015.

Aimed at the transfer print market, the MTEX Vision measures 1.85.m wide, features Ricoh Gen 5 printheads and offers quality of up to 1200 dpi.

The MTEX Blue, which the manufacturer says is an entry level direct-to-textile digital printer, is 1.6m wide, boasts Epson DX 7 heads and can produce output quality of up to 1440dpi.

Eloi Ferreira, chief executive officer of MTEX, comments: “The direct-to-textile print market is showing exciting levels of growth, and it’s becoming even more accessible, delivering really innovative new applications in an easy all-in-one process.

We hope that the introduction of the new Vision and Blue will give us another great start to 2015

“The last couple of years have been very exciting for us with the launch of the new MTEX 5032 and 5032Pro, and the MTEX Steamer, MTEX Pad coater and MTEX W&D wash and dry machine for complete, integrated digital textile printing solutions.

“We hope that the introduction of the new Vision and Blue will give us another great start to 2015.”

Visitors to Viscom Frankfurt were also treated to a viewing of the MTEX 5032Pro, another new device that was unveiled at FESPA earlier this year.
