Kodak’s new gloss-coated backlit film is said to be the latest in imaging technology
The polyester gloss-coated backlit film is heavyweight with Kodak claiming it is suitable for any backlit application, including retail signs, outdoor signage, trade show displays, and menu boards.
Brand Management Group (BMG) will be supplying the new film worldwide.
BMG’s CJ Forker expects the film to prove popular with sign-makers: “Print shops with solvent, low-solvent and UV-curable printers have been looking for a reliable and consistent backlit material that they can print in one pass and get the colour saturation they need for backlits that pop.
“For shops looking to reduce costs and increase production, this backlit fits the bill.”
