“The most important aspect for any sign-maker is the time it takes to apply and then remove window film products at the end of campaign,” states Lintec managing director, Andy Voss, in conversation with SignLink.

He continues: “If you can take the total time spent on a project from three to one days, at the same cost, then you can do far more work and get a much better margin. This is why we have designed systems such as our UV printable E-2200ZC and eco-solvent printable E-1000ZC window films so they are very easy to use and provide a very high end solution.”

Clients will pay for quality if they know it is available, and our mission is now to educate the industry about our solutions’ versatility and the ability to achieve photographic levels of quality using them

Lintec also used FESPA to demonstrate its E-1000ZC media with a matched overlaminating film—highlighting its high scratch resistance and showcasing an ultra-clear end result to the printed image.

Visitors to the international show were also able to see clever products such as Lumisty window film, which has a unique ability to control what can and cannot be seen by changing from translucent to transparent depending on the viewing angle.

Voss concludes: “Clients will pay for quality if they know it is available, and our mission is now to educate the industry about our solutions’ versatility and the ability to achieve photographic levels of quality using them. It all comes down to getting elements like the bonding adhesive perfectly right, and working closely with the top printer manufacturers.”
