Gripple was founded in 1990 and has made a progressive move into developing signage systems

Set to showcase its new systems at Sign and Digital UK 2013, the Sheffield-based company has won numerous manufacturing awards for its wire joining and tensioning devices and saw the opportunity to adapt them to a burgeoning trend in signage for suspended graphics systems.

The XP1 is billed as easy to use and finely adjust, using an ergonomic button release, without compromising strength

The company’s systems come in five load ratings up to 325kg. The XP1 is billed as ‘easy to use and finely adjust, using an ergonomic button release, without compromising strength’.

The company’s Squeezelock system is designed more specifically to cater for architectural solutions that need to be, ‘sleek and stylish’. And its Catenary solutions reportedly allow for the flexible suspension of signage where existing support structures are not available.
