Grafityp claims the LaserPro S290LS-200 is cheaper than similar products on the market, allowing for smaller firms to invest in the system

The firm claims that the new system is cheaper than similar products, while still offering what it describes as, ‘accurate, more compact, quality’ results.

Grafityp also stressed that its lower pricetag would allow smaller companies to purchase a model and enter the market sector.

The LaserPro S290LS-200 was originally designed as a custom-made machine for a specific customer, but the firm decided to offer it to the rest of the market.

The firm already has a number of products on the market in this area, but the latest edition is set to strengthen its position in the sector

Capable of engraving onto metals at 40ips, the system can cut a range of metals, such as stainless steel, brass, gold and aluminium.

It is a fiber 200 watt machine with a work area of 27” x 17”, and boasts a number of features, such as Drag-N-Engrave, which enables users to drag the les carriage directly to a start point of a job.

It also a DC Servo Motor, which Grafityp says allows for precise and fast carriage movement.

It additionally features the motion system Duraglide, with what the firm says is a ‘strong’ framework, Kevlar belts and accurate servo motor control technology—which is capable of delivering ‘superb quality’ output under rapid movement.

The firm already has a number of products on the market in this area, but the latest edition is set to strengthen its position in the sector—supplying companies with another option to tackle metal engraving and cutting projects.
