Zünd sets out to Prep market
Zünd UK has launched its latest software offering in the form of Prep Center workflow, aiming to bolster its strategic position in what is becoming a heavily competitive market

Prep Center was developed by Grafitroniks, the approved reseller of Zünd kit in France
The multi-national print finishing technology specialist claims it has been, ‘developed for long-term reliability and stability in specialist environments’.
The software interfaces with Zünd Cut Center and GTK Cut, as well as any number of PDFs and graphics, to create ready-to-print files. Prep Center also automatically extracts cutting and printing paths from PDF, EPS and AI files, placing them onto the correct layers.
Zünd digital cutting table users can use the software achieve various types of printing and cutting layers—such as routing, creasing, kiss-cutting, V-cutting and engraving—at high speeds. Zünd also claims cut times can also be estimated through integration with Zünd Cut Center software.
