Epson has become the latest leading brand to commit to The Print Show 2019, securing its presence at the event for a fifth consecutive year.

Epson has had a presence at The Print Show since the event launched back in 2015

The digital print giant has supported the show since its launch in 2015, first via distribution partner Colourbyte and then through its own stand.

In 2019, Epson will be based on its largest-ever stand at The Print Show, where it will be showcasing its popular eco-solvent SureColor S Series, as well as a range of new developments—details of which will be revealed in the coming months.

Speaking about Epson’s return to The Print Show, Phil McMullin, sales manager for ProGraphics at Epson UK, comments: “The UK print industry desperately needs a shop window and The Print Show is the only viable proposition.

“Epson is proud to support this important, local—as opposed to European—industry showcase, particularly with the current uncertain European situation.”

McMullin cites the ongoing uncertainty over Brexit as among the main reasons why UK print professionals should attend the show, as it will allow them to gain valuable market insight.

McMullin says: “Previous shows have highlighted a wide array of new profit opportunities for UK-based print service providers. If you are planning your company’s post-Brexit strategy then this is a must visit event.

“You can only learn so much from the internet and a sales brochure.”

He adds: “We had an outstanding couple of sales months directly after the 2018 show and whilst all the incremental business cannot all be directly attributed to the event, it’s fair to say that the halo effect of the pre and post event PR was strongly felt.

“We are looking to replicate the positive boost to sales that occurred after the 2018 show, as well as further establish the Epson brand as a key provider to print companies that want to mine additional profit streams.”
