Score a winner with Roland DG at ISPO Munich 2018

Roland DG has been using it booth at ISPO Munich 2018 to demonstrate how its digital print technology can help visitors access opportunities in the expansive customised sports equipment and apparel market.

Roland DG is based on Booth A4.202 in the Retail Lab 4.0 section of the event

Taking place at Messe Munich in Germany from January 28th to 31st, the event focuses on the sporting goods industry, featuring more than 2,700 exhibitors and expecting to attract in excess of 80,000 visitors from regions around the world.

Roland DG is positioned in the Retail Lab 4.0 section of the event and has been displaying kit it believes can help those in this market tae advantage of print-related opportunities.

“With Roland technology it is possible to easily and affordably customise sports items and give them a unique touch, including products such as sports kits, footballs, surfboards, ski helmets, flags, athletic clothing and other sports apparel and equipment, all personalised on-demand for customers,” Roland DG says in a statement.

Featuring on the Roland DG stand is the VersaSTUDIO BN-20, which can be used to create applications such as stickers, labels, heat transfers for clothing, point-of-sale displays and posters, as well as for personalisation of players’ shirts.

Visitors are also able to find out more about the METAZA MPX-95, a desktop photo impact printer that produces text and images on plaques, trophies and medals.

In addition, Rossella Barbizzi, sales representative retail and foreign market for Roland DG Mid Europe, will give a special presentation as part of the ISPO Academy seminar programme tomorrow (Tuesday). Entitled ‘Profit through Personalisation: The Roland Retail Concept’, Barbizzi will look at how kit from the company can is creating profitable new opportunities for all kinds of brands and businesses.
