Perspex causes an SDUK stir with new products

Perspex Distribution has reported plenty of positive feedback from visitors at this year’s Sign and Digital UK after the company used the event to showcase a number of new products.

Perspex enjoyed steady footfall on its stand during the three-day event in March

The firm gave attendees the opportunity to view Multishield, which, manufactured by Multipanel UK, uses a 0.25mm steel skin to produce a magnetically receptive rigid sheet with a digital print surface on one side, and a whiteboard paint on the other.

Perspex says the solution is suitable for applications such as magnetic displays and exhibition graphics, adding that it does not require vinyl lamination.

In addition, visitors were able to learn more about new offering Alupanel A-Lite White Core, which Perspex says is “ideal” for printed graphics that require a neat exposed edge, such as retail displays or printed photos.

Alupanel also gained further exposure at Sign and Digital UK, as products such as A-Lite, brushed metal and Black ACM were demonstrated live by Canon, Roland DG, CSI, and Complete CNC.

With production and R&D taking place in the UK, it was great to showcase the product innovation now possible from our manufacturing partners Multipanel

Luke Martyn, marketing manager at Perspex, comments: “With production and R&D taking place in the UK, it was great to showcase the product innovation now possible from our manufacturing partners Multipanel.

“The benefits for our customers are clear and we look forward to following up all stand enquiries to introduce even more sign-makers and printers to the Alupanel brand.

“We have already booked to attend the show again next year and we are excited to see what will be ready to showcase in 12 months time.”
