Mimaki looks the part at Texprocess and Techtextil

Mimaki is to use this month’s Texprocess and the co-located Techtextil 2017 to show how its wide-format digital textile printers, and ink and dye sublimation machines can take on various types of work in the wider textiles market.

Both trade fairs will take place from May 9th to 12th at the Messe Frankfurt in German; Texprocess will focus more on the garment-manufacturing and textile processing industry, while Techtextil will be serving as a platform for technical textiles and nonwovens.

Visitors to Texprocess can view the Mimaki TS300P-1800 with sublimation inks and the Tx300P-1800 printer with pigment inks at the Digital Textile Micro Factory sector of the event. The machines will feature in the large-format inkjet printing step of the micro-factory, involving sublimation printing on polyester and pigment printing on cotton and mixed fibres.

In addition, International Texprocess Forum will feature a presentation from Michael Wartmann, product manager textile at Mimaki Deutschland, focusing on the ‘Various Textile Ink Technologies for Interior Design’. Wartmann will also lead a session entitled ‘Drivers for future growth of digital textile printing in technical textile applications?’

Both events offer valuable, integrated components to connect with a variety of businesses involved with textile and apparel production at an international level

Uwe Niklas, general manager marketing and sales at Mimaki Deutschland, says: “The parallel Texprocess and Techtextil 2017 events provide Mimaki the advantage to demonstrate our textile inkjet print technologies and educate a wide audience on the value that Mimaki brings to the fast-growing textile markets.

“Both events offer valuable, integrated components to connect with a variety of businesses involved with textile and apparel production at an international level.”
