Zeta Specialist Lighting plans to showcase its environmentally-friendly LED and solar-powered signage products at the event

Taking place alongside sister event The Print Show at the International Centre in Telford from October 11th to 13th, SignLink Live will focus entirely on the sign-making. Those in attendance will be able to speak with a wide range of brands from across the industry, while an immersive content programme will offer further advice to those looking to expand and grow their business.

While the debut event has already attracted widespread interest from across the market, levels of anticipation ahead of the show are only set to rise after it was revealed that SignFab (UK) Ltd, UK Metalcraft, Kings Plastics, FK Moore and Zeta Specialist Lightinhave also signed up to exhibit.

Speaking about the decision to exhibit at this year’s debut event, Carl Hodgson, managing director of SignFab (UK) Ltd , said SignLink Live address a major gap in the UK market and, as such, the company had to exhibit.

“SignFab (UK) Ltd sees SignLink Live as the sign show sign-makers have been wanting for the last 10 years or so,” Hodgson said. “Let’s face it, there is more to sign-making than just digital print.

“We hope that the sign-makers who have given up on other shows around Europe can finally attend a trade exhibition that will truly allow them to diversify and expand their portfolio of services and grow their turnover and increase their profit.”

In terms of what SignFab (UK) Ltd will be showcasing at the event, Hodgson said that in addition to its portfolio of products, the company will be on hand to offer key advice and guidance to visitors seeking a trade service.

“We want to showcase what we our renowned for; high quality aluminium and stainless steel built up letters, totem signs, monoliths and aluminium fascia signs,” Hodgson said.

“In addition, we want to push our LUMAIRE illumination range of products, for example, our newly developed and cost effective slimline trough light that offers a real alternative in design, our tactile and braille signs that we have very recently added to our list of services, and a brand new post and panel system that offers a unique illumination option.

SignLink Live provides us with a great opportunity to engage with sign-makers face-to-face, and demonstrate how they can leverage the benefits of our innovative solutions for a wide range of signage applications

“We will also be keen to discuss our reliable and professional plain clothed installation service, and we want to take the opportunity to educate visitors as to how we work as a company so that they can send their enquiries to us with the minimum of fuss and take full advantage of everything that we offer in terms of customer service, knowledge, help.”

Meanwhile, Adrian Dennis, managing director of Zeta, said that the show will be a “great opportunity” to not only show off its latest products, but also connect with the sign-making community.

Dennis said: “Our environmentally-friendly LED and solar-powered signage products are more in demand than ever. SignLink Live provides us with a great opportunity to engage with sign-makers face-to-face, and demonstrate how they can leverage the benefits of our innovative solutions for a wide range of signage applications.

“LEDs offer sign-makers an eco-friendly solution to illuminate signage and have become the lighting of choice across many signage applications. When used on-grid, Zeta’s LED signage solutions such as the new Light Guide Panel, consume up to 70% less power than traditional lighting systems, which positively impacts on both the bottom and the green line.”

As we are celebrating 70 years in the sign trade, we felt given all the additional advertising we’ve been doing to promote our anniversary, launching our new range of LEDs, and having worked closely with SignLink creating SignLink Live signage, doing the show would help take our celebration to the next level

“However, when used in conjunction with Zeta’s intelligent solar technology, the real economies kick in.”

Elsewhere, Jenna Hart, sales office manager at Kings Plastics, said the show coincides with the firm’s 70th anniversary, and has such identified it as the perfect platform to display its latest products.

Hart said: “As we are celebrating 70 years in the sign trade, we felt given all the additional advertising we’ve been doing to promote our anniversary, launching our new range of LEDs, and having worked closely with SignLink creating SignLink Live signage, doing the show would help take our celebration to the next level.

“We hope to spread the word about our range of LED products to other sign companies and show that edgelit signage is our speciality.”
