Outdoor signage to get bigger at SGI Dubai

With outdoor large-format printing growing at rapid speeds, Sign and Graphic Imaging (SGI) Dubai 2016 will showcase the solutions signage printers need to get into large-format applications.

“At SGI Dubai 2016 we will see once again visitors from all over the world looking to increase their business and production.

"With an attendance of 52% top level management at last years edition, SGI Dubai 2016 is the decision-making show for printers and all market participants from GCC, the MENA region and beyond,” says Sharif Rahman, chief executive officer of trade show management company, International Expo Consults (IEC).

Steady growth of this advertising sector proves that outdoor signage is in high demand


With some of the world’s largest outdoor formats, the Middle East region and Dubai is the ideal location for the exhibition. Outdoor advertising is said to see growth of 5.5 percent in 2015 and 6 percent in 2016.

Rahman continues: “Printers from the region and beyond are innovative and environmentally conscious which paired with the vast offerings of production solutions and the multitude of opportunities arising in the MENA region places SGI Dubai 2016 at the forefront of exhibitions that are a must to visit.

“Steady growth of this advertising sector proves that outdoor signage is in high demand, especially with all the upcoming projects including the Expo 2020 in Dubai that is expected to reach a spending of 88bnDHS (24bnUS$) will increase demand for outdoor signage significantly.

"New advertising materials, environmentally friendly solutions and prints have a great future.”

SGI Dubai 2016 will take place from January 10th to 12th at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
