IIJ’s XYPrint 300 is a high-accuracy inkjet system that the company says is ideal for process development, print research, direct product decoration, material deposition/additive manufacturing and low-volume production.

The system utilises Konica Minolta inkjet printheads to achieve high levels of accuracy, while it also comes with complete a syringe-based ink system that IIJ says allows for rapid change of ink type and minimal ink wastage.

John Corrall, managing director of IIJ, enthuses: “This system, which has been a year in development on the back of the huge success of the XYPrint 200, is twice as fast and even more accurate and flexible.

“It will also have a huge impact in this specialist market.

“Target sectors will include ink developers, universities, media producers, research laboratories, and low volume product decoration as well as many others.

“We’ve received considerable interest already and show-goers to FESPA can look forward to live printing on to everyday consumer goods on our stand.”

FESPA 2015 takes place in Cologne, Germany, from May 18th to 22nd.
