Ricoh is hoping to draw in plenty of interest from visitors at this year’s Sign and Digital UK

The firm, which is already established as one of the key players in the print market, will use the event to showcase its kit and solutions to members of the sign industry.

Gareth Parker, strategic marketing manager at Ricoh UK, explains: “This show fits in perfectly with our strategy to get closer to our customers and potential customers by attending specialist more focused events and shows.

“We are looking forward to talking to the visitors who come onto our stand to understand more about them and how Ricoh and our product portfolio can help them to transform their businesses through innovative technology-led change.”

The major highlight for Ricoh at the show will be the unveiling of its new Ricoh Pro L4100 Series latest large-format roll-to-roll printer.

Ricoh says the new device is available in two models—the 53" Pro L4130 or 63" Pro L4160—and can support up to seven colours in various configurations.

The new Ricoh Pro L4100’s latest ink is an aqueous ink that contains a low level of VOCs, which Ricoh claims make the devices a good choice for green-minded companies.

Parker continues: “The public debut in the UK of the first commercially available model of the L4100 Series is a very exciting development in the evolution of Ricoh as an emerging leader in the digital print sector.

“With this product, we now have strong, competitive portfolio spanning the cut sheet and wide format Graphics and CAD sectors.”

In addition to the Ricoh Pro L4100 Series launch, the company will also be demonstrating a Ricoh Pro C751EX digital press, its MarcomCentral SaaS-based Marketing Asset Management system and a portfolio of Business Driver tools.

Ricoh will be on stand J10 at Sign and Digital UK 2014, which runs from April 29th until May 1st at Birmingham’s NEC.
