Hosted at the Wynn Las Vegas, the annual conference attracted more than 1,100 customers, employees and industry experts—a figure the firm claims is the largest in Connect’s history.

Visitors were treated to over 150 session that covered a number of key areas for businesses, including management information and enterprise resource planning software, web-to-print systems, industrial inkjet print, as well as EFI’s Fiery technology. Other highlights included a ‘fireside chat’ between EFI chief executive officer, Guy Gecht, and Landa chairman and chief executive officer, Benny Landa.

“The level of interaction and the educational programming we’ve assembled make Connect one of a select few conferences that provide a high return on investment by giving attendees tangible business strategies for future success,” explains EFI’s senior vice president of worldwide sales and marketing, Frank Mallozzi.

EFI also used Connect to keep customers up-to-date with the latest products on offer from the firm, as well as highlighting areas of the market in which it can assist— this year highlighting digital print as a thriving sector.

Gecht also announced at the event that the firm is likely to seek out further acquisition throughout 2013, allowing it to build on its already-extensive knowledge of markets sectors such as web-to-print and dynamic publishing.

Among the EFI partners in attendance were 3M, Esko, Konica Minolta and Xerox—demonstrating the scale of the event, and how much importance such companies place on Connect. Your text here...
