Designs recently completed a five-day rebrand of the HSBC National Cycling Centre

During the rebrand, which took over five days to install, Designs produced all of the exterior and interior brand elements for the centre including illuminated flex face signs, built-up facia signage, directional wayfinding and numerous internal wall wraps, perimeter boards and large-format banners.

With over 14 years’ experience in the industry, including completing projects at football stadiums and branding Twickenham Stadium, Designs used its experience to undertake a project on another significant building.

We have built a good relationship with trust over the years, and there was no hesitation from either party when considering carrying out the rebrand

Known as the ‘home of British cycling’, the centre features one of the world’s fastest board tracks and regular users include members of the GB track cycling team. The centre is also home to a £24m purpose-built indoor BMX complex, which is the UK’s only permanent indoor BMX track with seating for two thousand fans.

Commenting on the project, Rob Daysley, managing director at Designs says: “The team here at Designs worked overnight to ensure that the rebrand was effective and on schedule. Having worked with MACactive – who manage the National Cycling Centre, before, we were delighted to work on the rebrand.

“We have built a good relationship with trust over the years, and there was no hesitation from either party when considering carrying out the rebrand.”
