Gary Peeling, managing director of Where The Trade Buys urges brands and stores not to waste roll-up banners by tucking them away out of sight

Gary Peeling, managing director of Where The Trade Buys, says roll-up banners can be printed to the highest quality and look visually stunning, but if they are not placed in the right location, this all goes to waste.

With this in mind, Peeling picks out a number of key environments where roll-up banners can capture maximum interest from a target audience.

First off is exhibitions and trade shows, as Peeling explains: “A printed medium like a pull-up banner is far more memorable than a digital alternative. If you want to stand out against your competitors at a major recruitment exhibition and create that bond to entice people to come over, why not design an attractive, descriptive pull-up banner and place it next to your stand?

“If it’s eye-catching enough, it will draw potential partners and employees to your table where you can begin discussing the key details of your business.”

Moving on, roll-up banners can be used to highlight the location of a business; and with this in mind, brands should consider where they can place a banner in order to best direct potential customers to their own site.

There are so many places you can put your banners to effectively promote your company

When the client is on site, a roll-up banners can then be used to greet them at the reception desk, offering an insight into what a business offers without throwing  too much information at them at once.

Should a customer be walking past your place of business, such as a retail store, a roll-up banner can help alert them to some of your latest offers.

Peeling says: “With 80 percent of consumers self-proclaiming that they are ‘promotion sensitive’, displaying such discounts through your shop window is a great idea. Highlighting a special discount on your pull-up banner placed in your store window will give your offer excellent visibility to help bring foot traffic in-store.”

Finally, Peeling says that businesses should not be afraid to use roll-up banners to show off their own achievements. These sorts of applications allow you to list your awards so that both new and existing customers see the quality of your service.

Peeling adds: “There are so many places you can put your banners to effectively promote your company. Bear these key tips in mind to maximise your ROI!”
