Signs Express momentum continues to build

After many Signs Express franchisees experienced significant growth in what was the company’s 25th anniversary year, the firm recently paid tribute the success of its UK network by staging its annual convention and handing out a series of awards.

Signs Express host its annual convention to celebrate the success of franchisees across the UK

Craig Brown, managing director at Signs Express, kicked off proceedings at the prestigious Hilton Deansgate Hotel in Manchester by speaking about the past year and outlining the company’s plans to ensure further success for its many franchisees.

The highlight of the night came in the form of a special award for Signs Express Plymouth franchisees Chris and Vida Reilly and Signs Express Portsmouth franchisees Ray and Jane Allenby, who were named as joint franchisees of the year.

Celebrating the success of the Plymouth and Portsmouth branches, Brown says: “The Plymouth centre has embraced the support on offer to drive a real shift change in their business, investing time and energy in local proactive sales and marketing activities, with fantastic results showing sales growth of 24 percent.

Other highlights included Signs Express Sheffield taking home awards for best exterior sign and best interior sign, while one of its staff, James Stuchbury, was named joint employee of the year alongside Signs Express Exeter employee Alice Dowle.

Signs Express Basildon won the best project honour; Signs Express Bedford took home the award for best vehicle graphics; and Signs Express Central Lancashire won the award for most striking design or sign.
