We often hear of print businesses that have invested in new technology due to increasing work volumes and Fresh Graphics is no exception, having bought a Roland DG True VIS VG-640 printer/cutter.

Specialist branding and print services company, Fresh Graphics, was started by Steve Laing from Belfast in 2009.

The company purchased the new machine from Sign + Digital after having technical issues with a competitor machine previously.

The problems faced with other machinery caused Fresh Graphics to lose money due to ink waste, which is why picking the right machine this time was crucial.

I was instantly drawn to the True VIS VG-640 as it is a very professional looking piece of equipment, and its performance didn't disappoint either

Laing explains: “I was instantly drawn to the True VIS VG-640 as it is a very professional looking piece of equipment, and its performance didn’t disappoint either. The True VIS could easily handle our increasing volumes of work with its speed and accuracy, allowing us to deliver even quicker turnaround times for our customers.

“Even at such high speeds, we have never had a problem with the quality output of the True VIS, which is always 100 percent spot on. Another factor that made us want to stay with Roland was the training and support we received from Sign + Digital.

“The best thing about Roland DG is the peace of mind it gives me. By using such high performing, quality equipment, I know that I don’t have to worry about anything going wrong – they’re like the equivalent to a supercar.”
