Indeed, the eagerly awaited Mimaki UJF-6042 MkII small-format UV flatbed printer is now available for demonstration at Hybrid's Crewe headquarters. The system builds on an award-winning legacy from Mimaki and its development has been driven by an ongoing boom in the promotional print and personalised products sector.

“We’re delighted to announce the installation of this exciting new product in our showroom in South Cheshire and are really looking forward to providing demonstrations to all interested parties,” says Hybrid’s national sales manager for industrial products, Stuart Cole.

He continues: “The UJF series has been hugely popular since its launch in 2009 and now we can see that Mimaki, true to form, has looked at the expanding needs of both the sign and graphics and the manufacturing industries and produced a model that exceeds expectations.”

The UJF-6042 MkII was launched in September along with the smaller UJF-3042 MkII, which replaces the UJF-3042HG. The new model can print thicknesses of up to 153mm and has a maximum print resolution of 1200 x 1200dpi.

Cole adds: “We want to provide people with the opportunity to have a holistic overview of Mimaki’s UJF Series and its capabilities all within the comfort of our showroom. Installation of the UJF-3042 MkII is expected shortly, meaning we will be able to demonstrate a wide selection of direct-to-object applications with a variety of ink types under one roof, giving print companies the ideal opportunity to get acquainted with this superb range of small format flatbed printers.”

The printer is compatible with a range of Mimaki UV inksets including LUS-120 and LUS-150.
