“We had a DJ playing chilled tunes and it was great to see business being done and lots of positive noises from our partners. Is print back? It certainly felt like that,” says Gunning.

The next Expoganza will be held on February 3rd at the Crypt on the Green, Clerkenwell, London, and then at the Paintworks, Bath Road, Bristol on Wednesday February 10th. The original London dates had to be moved due to the impending tube strikes.

Gunning continues: “The events are a mash-up of exhibition, networking, demos and freebies, all designed to bring a bit of light-hearted fun to dark winter evenings. This combination makes them truly unique in the sector and we've chosen three very distinctive spaces in leading UK cities in which to host some of the industry's most talented and forward-thinking brands.

“Anyone who is serious about making money in design, print, display, web or technology really can't afford to miss out. Not only is Expoganza a chance to network with other graphic professionals, but it's a brilliant opportunity to learn about the latest trends in web design and print.”

Anyone who is serious about making money in design, print, display, web or technology really can't afford to miss out.

Visitors to Expoganza will learn from experts representing brands including Google, w3p, and Nettl, which will be on hand to showcase the latest in web and technology-related systems for graphic professionals. Other brands include Brambl, printing.com, Eposnow, Marqetspace, and TemplateCloud.

A very special facet of Expoganza is its themed arenas, which include the Fabric Gallery, Print Boutique, Web-to-Print Hub, Web Studio, and Business Lounge.

Gunning continues: “The Fabric Gallery is designed to highlight digital textiles, which as a sector has been growing at 25 percent year-on-year for the past five years. Our Fabric Gallery shows just how beautiful these display stands can look in the flesh.

“If your clients buy print, then at the Print Boutique you can see the latest trends and fancy finishes and find out how you can access the UK's largest range of print deals all at trade prices.

“If you are already doing web design or web-to-print then at the Web Studio you can find out how to sell larger projects like EPOS integrations. And if you have not dipped your toe in the water yet then you can see new easy design tools to help you get started today.”

Gunning continues, highlighting the attractions of the other key arenas at the show: “The Business Lounge allows you to talk to industry experts, make new connections, and enjoy a beer and maybe discuss how you could grow your business with some new opportunities.

“At the Tech Hub you can see how to build online editable templates direct from InDesign for iPad and HTML5. You can also get a grounding in how to sell online with a web shop and explore automated file processing for your studio team.

“Finally, our Display Sales area will allow you to sign up to borrow a demo display equipment to show to your clients. Yours to keep, free of charge once you have sold some or return with nothing to pay.”

Grafenia are a well-established force in the visual communications and graphic arts industry and through its company divisions provides key services to web designers, printers, copy shops, sign-makers, graphic designers, marketing agencies, branding consultants, print buyers, print resellers, and digital agencies.
