Mimaki is storming ahead on the back of a new technical partnership with Caterham’s Formula 1 Racing Team.

Mimaki announces their partnership with Caterham’s F1 Racing Team on September 9th, the first day of Viscom Paris

The global manufacturer will now be printing and cutting all communication, vehicle graphics, and visuals for the Caterham Team on Mimaki machines.

The news is something of a coup for the Japan-based wide-format printer manufacturer, as F1 has long been seen as the province of only the world’s most prestigious global brands.

Mimaki impressed us with the creative versatility their solutions have to offer and won us over immediately

Manfredi Ravetto, team principal of the Caterham F1 Team, weighed in on why Mimaki was chosen as a graphics partner for the F1 Team, saying: “Whether it is on the track or projecting our image across various media, our team is focused on results.

"That is why we required a technical partner that could deliver quality that matches our high engineering standards. Mimaki impressed us with the creative versatility their solutions have to offer and won us over immediately.”

John de la Roche, national sales manager of sign and graphics at Mimaki’s UK and Irish distributors, Hybrid Services, echoed these sentiments: “We are delighted to have this fantastic opportunity to work with the Caterham F1 Team and to help them to maximize the benefits of the Mimaki equipment in support of their sporting and commercial objectives.”

The partnership races ahead on the first day of Viscom Paris, September 9th to 11th, in the appropriately glamourous setting of the Porte de Versailles in Paris, France.
