NTI Diatec has installed a new HP Latex 830W press at its showroom, allowing Irish printers a first glimpse of the recently released solution
Wide-format print supplier, NTI Diatec, has installed a new HP Latex 830W printer at its location in Ireland, allowing industry professionals in the country to view live demonstrations of one of the latest releases from HP.
NTI Diatec’s installation presents the first opportunity for companies in Ireland to see the machine up close without having to travel across to the UK.
HP first announced the release of both the HP Latex 730 and 830 printers at this year’s ISA Sign Expo, offering an arsenal of new features and enhancements in comparison to previous models. The company subsequently announced that it would present these innovations at The Sign Show in September, which is running alongside The Print Show for 2025.
The Latex 830 offers a maximum media width of 1.63m, 1200 x 1200 dpi print quality, 3L ink cartridges, and print speeds of up to 36sq m/hr in outdoor mode.
The Latex 830W has all the features of the Latex 830, but with the addition of white ink capabilities. It includes two additional printheads dedicated to white ink, designed to expand the range of applications and allowing for vibrant, opaque white prints.
As is the case with the entire Latex series, the press utilises water-based inks that are free from hazardous air pollutants (HAPs) and odours, designed to be more environmentally friendly in comparison to other ink options.
Running as part of the NTI Group, NTI Diatec operates from its Kilcarbery site in Dublin, offering customers access to a range of wide-format print solutions including several of HP latest technologies.
