Trotec Laser has launched the Speedy Black Line of laser cutting and engraving solutions, a new workflow-driven laser production platform with a range of automation capabilities

Trotec Laser has announced the release of Speedy Black Line, a new workflow-driven laser platform designed to connect job preparation, laser processing, and production management.
The new machinery line combines laser cutting and engraving hardware with Trotec’s proprietary Ruby operating software, alongside a range of automation capabilities and workflow integration – all within in a single coordinated production environment.
Available as the Speedy 480 Black Line and Speedy 360 Black Line for differing bed sizes, the solutions are designed to support users through a complete production process, from incoming order to finished product.
Rather than focusing solely on hardware performance, the Speedy Black Line is designed as an integrated solution that connects job preparation and laser production workflows, reduces manual data handling and processing steps, and improves transparency across production processes.
The Speedy Black Line supports integration into connected production environments via API and Node-RED. In connected production environments, order information can be exchanged between laser production and surrounding business systems such as web shops and order-management platforms, helping to reduce repeated data entry throughout the production process.
For positioning accuracy, the Vision Design & Position camera system provides a live visual preview directly on the material before processing starts. A Vision Print & Cut tool also ensures reliable registration of printed graphics for applications such as signs, displays, labels, and promotional products.
The systems offer a quick change table system developed to enable fast transitions between materials and applications, while integrated ‘OptiFlow’ extraction technology can support consistent engraving and cutting quality across the entire working area.
The Speedy Black Line is also engineered for long-term productivity, with its InPack dust-protection system helping to protect critical machine components from contamination while its TroCare service programs can provide preventive maintenance, priority support, and assistance to maximise system availability.
Petra Berger, product marketing manager at Trotec Laser, says: "Laser productivity increasingly depends on the steps before and after the actual laser process. The Speedy Black Line was developed to connect job preparation, positioning, and production within one workflow-oriented platform."
