Automation expert, OneVision Software, has unveiled its latest software solution, AI Billboard Validation, which is designed to leverage AI-driven quality control.

The software is designed to automate campaign evaluation and streamline communication across the out-of-home (OOH) advertising ecosystem.

Managing an OOH campaign often involves multiple stakeholders including advertisers, printers, and operators, all of whom may face liability and costs without reliable feedback loops.

AI Billboard Validation aims to address these challenges, introducing an end-to-end solution that accelerates reporting, ensures digital proof of posting, and integrates AI-driven quality control into a single, connected platform.

The technology has been developed to combine photo reporting with geocoordinates and timestamps, enabling greater efficiency and accountability.

The software also uses computer vision and AI artwork checking to automatically verify that the correct ads are displayed and detect potential quality issues.

The validation is third-party independent, with routine validations handled instantly and manual checks reportedly only required for exceptional cases, aiming to reduce administrative overhead and free up personnel.

AI Billboard Validation will be introduced to the US market at the PRINTING United Expo 2025, which runs from October 22nd to 24th in Orlando, Florida. A dedicated online rollout event will also highlight the automation solution for the European market.

The annual trade exhibition aims to unite the entire printing industry – including commercial, packaging, wide-format, apparel, textile, and in-plant sectors – for what it touts as “the most immersive, innovation-led expo in our history.”

With more than 800 exhibitors across a one million sq. ft space, attendees are set to see numerous product launches, first-in-North America debuts, and new experiential show floor activations.

Other software providers for print and signage at this year’s PRINTING United Expo include Fiery, Enfocus, X-Rite, Antera Software, and Gelato.

SignLink will be attending this year's event, providing updates, video interviews, and other coverage throughout the exhibition.
