Signs Express Convention highlights franchise success

The Signs Express Convention included a gala dinner, awards show, keynote speakers, and networking opportunities to Signs Express franchises, suppliers, and sponsors

The Signs Express Convention 2025, which was held on Friday January 24th, brought together over 150 attendees at the De Vere Wokefield Estate in Reading. This annual event provides a platform for networking, sharing of best practices, and celebrating achievements of the Signs Express network.

With over 20 key suppliers and industry partners in attendance, the convention offered a range of seminars, product launches, and discussions on the latest developments shaping the signage industry.

The speakers at the event included a strategic update from Signs Express’ managing director, Jonathan Bean, and network development director, Aaron Davis.

Keynote speaker, Kevin Aires, from Cadenz delivered a session on the impact of video for social media, highlighting the growing importance of video content in digital marketing.

Grace Appleby from Yawn Marketing also delivered a seminar on building a personal brand online, providing actionable insights on leveraging digital platforms for business success.

Jack Thompson from Brandfixx introduced a new modular vehicle wrap solution for Signs Express customers designed to open more opportunities in vehicle branding.

The convention concluded with a black-tie gala dinner and awards ceremony celebrating the talent, dedication, and achievements within the Signs Express network over the past 12 months.

Among the winners on the night, the Training & Development Award was given to Kim and Dave Nurse of Signs Express Leeds.

The Social Media Champion Award was won by Matt Rutlidge of Signs Express Central Lancashire & Southport.

The Sustainability Award, which was sponsored by graphics company, Metamark, was awarded this year to Signs Express Southampton.

Speaking of the event, Signs Express managing director, Jonathan Bean, said: “The Signs Express 2025 Convention was a true testament to the strength and ambition of our network.

“I could not be prouder of what has been achieved in 2024, and this event really reinforced our ongoing commitment to growth, collaboration and excellence and demonstrates that together, we’re shaping the future of Signs Express.”

Bean went on to thank the individuals who organised the event, adding: “My sincere thanks and appreciation go to our network, my Franchise Support Centre team, our supplier and industry partners, and of course our customers. We look forward to seeing what 2025 brings.”
