Signbox’s new general manager, Adrian Eden, is hoping to enter the UK signage company into new sectors and growth markets

UK signage company, Signbox, has announced the appointment of Adrian Eden as its new general manager.
Eden has 18 years of experience in the sign industry, including ten years in production and install management, and eight years in strategic operations. Most recently, Eden worked for signage company Cobal as operations manager for six years, leading a team of 21.
According to the company, Eden’s key focus will be to expand into new sectors and capitalise on emerging growth opportunities, particularly leveraging Signbox’s investment into a swissQprint Nyala.
The machine, first installed in Signbox’s Reading headquarters in 2023, offers nine colour channels including white, spot orange, and a varnish option which offers additional haptic effects.
The company has credited the printer with expanding the company’s production capacity and offerings.
Speaking about his new role, Eden says: "I’ve always admired Signbox for its forward-thinking approach and culture of innovation and excellence in sign-making.
“This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to new sectors and products, and I’m particularly keen to explore sustainability and drive innovation alongside the talented team here."

Mark Bartlett, managing director of Signbox, adds: "Adrian brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success.
“His extensive background in production, business strategy, and leadership, combined with his exceptional project delivery skills, makes him a perfect fit for Signbox as we approach our 40th anniversary. We’re confident Adrian will lead us into a future of positive innovation and growth."
The Surrey-based company, founded in 1985, produces a wide range of signage including architectural signs, environmental graphics, and wayfinding.
Last year, the company won the Gold Interior Decor award at the Sign & Wrap Awards for its work on the Horizon 22 viewing platform in London.
Along with design consultants Hello Hackenbacker, Signbox developed, manufactured, and installed branding and practical wayfinding signage for Horizon 22, reportedly the highest viewing platform in London.
The company also won a Silver award in the Sustainability in Signage category, for its refurbishment of the 160,000sq ft Ark office building in Hammersmith.
