Route Media has unveiled four new digital advertising screens at major gateways in Cardiff, providing impressions from over 100,00 vehicles each day

Out-of-home (OOH) advertising specialist, Route Media, has unveiled four premium digital roadside screens at two of Cardiff’s busiest gateways.
Two wide-format digital out-of-home (DOOH) screens have been installed at Culverhouse Cross, with another two at Queensgate Roundabout in Cardiff Bay.
Positioned on the busy A4232 Cardiff Link Road, they capture traffic travelling between Cardiff city centre, Cardiff Bay, the M4, and the Vale of Glamorgan.
Route Media has calculated that over 100,000 vehicles pass by the screens each day, which it says creates “one of South Wales' most prominent roadside advertising opportunities”.
Dean Jones, sales and marketing director at Route Media, says: "These new locations are a significant addition to our network. Culverhouse Cross and Queensgate are two of Cardiff's most recognisable commuter locations, giving brands an opportunity to be seen by thousands of people every single day.
"As demand for DOOH continues to grow, we're committed to investing in premium locations that deliver real impact. This expansion is another step in our long-term vision to build the strongest digital advertising network in Wales."
Route Media's investment in Cardiff builds on its presence across the city's transport network, including digital advertising at Cardiff Bus Interchange and across the wider Transport for Wales estate.
The expansion also continues a period of rapid growth for Route Media, whose network now spans more than 1,000 digital and static roadside, rail, and retail advertising locations across Wales and Northern Ireland.
Alongside its expansion, the business has built partnerships with sporting organisations including Cardiff City FC and Swansea City AFC, delivering campaigns that can be updated to reflect live events, matchdays, and changing audiences.
Jones adds: "This isn't just about adding more screens – it's about creating better opportunities for businesses to connect with audiences in the moments that matter. We're excited to continue investing in Cardiff and beyond as our network grows."
