PressOn Automotive provides a range of private, commercial, and fleet vehicle wrapping services including full graphic wraps and vinyl detailing

Vehicle wrap and graphics company, PressOn Automotive, will partner with All Print Supplies (APS) to host an open house vehicle wrapping event at its facility in Whitstable.

Taking place on December 5th, the free-to-attend open house will feature live demonstrations from wrapping professionals as well as giving visitors the opportunity to try their hand at vehicle wrapping.

The event will be supported on the day by HP printers and Fedrigoni materials with demonstrations using equipment and materials from both companies.

The day will begin with an introduction to wrapping including the speciality materials available and the printing and installation skills required to wrap a vehicle. Attendees will then learn about profiling and printing, with the day’s second session covering printer set up, printing and finishing as well as preparing the vehicle for installing a wrap.

After an on-site lunch, the afternoon session will allow attendees to get hands on and try wrapping a car themselves. PressOn Automotive employees will be on hand to advise and guide visitors, offering inside tips on how to get the best results.

Andy Wilson, managing director of PressOn Automotive and its parent company PressOn, says: “At PressOn Automotive, we are all about giving back to the industry and spreading the knowledge and skills of vehicle wrapping.

“This open house event will allow attendees from all backgrounds to learn about wrapping and take away invaluable guidance and advice on the process.”

The event will take place between 10am and 4pm on Thursday December 5th at PressOn’s facility in the Joseph Wilson Industrial Estate, Whitstable. More information about the event can be found on the company’s website.

According to PressOn, its partnership with long-term partner Sherbet Media was a core reason behind it launching its PressOn Automotive division earlier this year.

PressOn began working with Sherbet Media, which specialises in advertising on London taxis, in the spring of 2017. The partnership was formed to focus on creating branded liveries for taxis.

Using the HP Latex 3600 and HP Latex 3500, PressOn and Sherbet Media worked together on print-based projects for clients such as Pretty Little Thing, Boss, and De Beers.

The Automotive division of PressOn was launched in 2024, specifically focusing on the vehicle wraps and graphics market.

Speaking in October about the use of HP printers, Wilson said: “The HP Latex 3500 and HP Latex 3600 have both been crucial in producing the high-quality graphics required for the taxi wraps.

“These printers are well-known for their ability to print on wide rolls with precision and vibrant colour reproduction. The high-quality prints and durable materials ensure that the taxi liveries not only meet but exceed expectations in terms of appearance and performance.”
