UK vehicle graphics specialist, GRS Fleet Graphics, has appointed James Hopkins as its new operating partner, with the aim of utilising his previous experience in the automotive, light commercial vehicle (LCV), and B2B fleet sectors.

Hopkins previously worked as a board advisor for vehicle damage recognition tool, Wondle, as well as managing director for vehicle shipping agent, DMN Logistics.

In his new role, James will focus on optimising operational processes across the group and supporting the leadership team in delivering growth plans.

GRS Fleet Graphics, which acquired EPIC Media Group in October 2023, provides nationwide vehicle graphics services including lettering, vinyl wraps, and specialised safety graphics from its base in Southampton.

Commenting on his appointment, Hopkins says: “I’m delighted to join GRS Fleet Graphics and EPIC Media Group. Both organisations have strong reputations for quality and service, and I look forward to working with Martin, Hadrien, and the wider teams.”

In the role, Hopkins will work closely with GRS general manager Martin Tyrrell, and executive chairman, Hadrien Salin, as the group aims to grow and strengthen its position across the UK.

Commenting on the appointment, Tyrrell says: “James brings a wealth of knowledge from the automotive and fleet world. His leadership and experience will be key as we continue to scale our operations and provide best-in-class solutions to our customers.”

Salin adds: “This is a pivotal moment for the group. With James on board, we are adding the expertise needed to support both GRS and EPIC as we continue to raise standards in the fleet graphics sector.”
