Neschen launches new PVC-free film with mirror effect

Manufacturer of self-adhesive print media, Neschen Coating, has announced the launch of a new product for the graphic industry – the easy dot PET silver L-UV film.

This new product is a 100 µm polyester printable PVC-free L-UV film with a glossy mirror effect. This mirror effect, Neschen says, makes the film ideal for eye-catching displays and creative interior designs.

The PVC-free film is metallised to deliver a high-quality chrome-look finish and has been designed for UV-curable and latex inks. Being PVC-free, the new product also addresses growing consumer demand for eco-friendly products.

According to the manufacturer, one of the standout features of the film is its easy dot water-based adhesive which enables fast and easy application. This dot-shaped adhesive allows for air channels, making it easy to apply and bubble free. 

The new film also features water-based, solvent-free adhesive and offers a durability of up to two years.
