The specialist in branded environments has added Multipanel UK’s recycling scheme to its list of services

Moss has launched a closed loop scheme for UK customers using Aluminium Composite Panels (ACP), which offer a range of solutions for signage, displays, and exhibition stands.
The company is an early adopter of Multipanel UK’s Closed Loop recycling scheme for Alupanel ACP materials meaning panels will be collected from clients for recycling at their end of life.
Once collected the panels are returned to Moss UK headquarters where they will join any waste collected during the production process. Once collated all the waste is trimmed and separated into aluminium and Low-Density Polyethylene streams.
The aluminium is baled, crushed, and shipped to a UK aluminium smelter which contributes to the UK’s aluminium supply chain. Meanwhile, the LDPE core is ground into small pellets before being returned to Multipanel UK and former into a new core.

With an 80% closed-loop recycling rate, Moss is exploring further partnerships with aluminium companies to achieve 100% recycling.

Mark Rose, operations director at Moss, comments: "We are excited to be part of this recycling initiative, offering products with robust green credentials. Multipanel UK’s ACP sits alongside the rest of our diverse range of eco-friendly materials, giving our customers more choice than ever when it comes to selecting sustainable products and services.”
Multipanel UK offers businesses a low carbon footprint solution thanks to its UK production and commitment to a more circular economy.
Gary Weeks from Multipanel UK, adds: "Working with Moss has been a pleasure, and we are thrilled to support the company’s journey towards achieving a 100% recycling rate. Our focus on a closed loop recycling process is one example of how we are responding to demands for greener graphics throughout the print industry, and we’re delighted to be part of the solution.”
