Cornish materials and coatings provider, Kernow Coatings, has announced the launch of its newest product, KernowJet EventSharK, a short-term, PVC-free floor and wall graphic.

The cuff-resistant material, which is compatible with eco-solvent, latex, and UV inks, is designed as a solution for retailers, event organisers, and marketers seeking a fast and simple way to apply temporary graphics.

The graphic is engineered with a dot-pattern adhesive, developed to offer bubble-free application and clean, damage-free removal. The adhesive also enables repositioning of the graphic, allowing misaligned installations to be adjusted without stretching or damaging the material or leaving residue behind.

EventSharK uses the same ‘sharkskin’ textured coating as the previously released KernowJet FloorSharK. The coating absorbs ink and enables quick drying, with an R10-certified slip resistance designed to make it a reliable choice for environments where safety is important.

The R10 certification refers to a ‘ramp test’ which assesses slip resistance by measuring the angle at which a person slips on an oiled surface. R10-certified products provide a good balance between grip and ease of cleaning, making the material suitable for indoor areas where spills or dampness might occur.

Phil Bartlett, technical director at Kernow Coatings, says: “Our customers asked for an easy-to-use floor graphic with quick installation and reside-free removal – and we delivered.

“This product was developed for speed, simplicity, and safety. The dot adhesive technology saves time on installs while still delivering great print quality and durability. It’s an ideal solution for fast-moving environments where change is constant.”
