LoveYourPrint.com installed a new SinoColor HUV2000 hybrid UV from China Print Supplies, after first seeing the machine in action at The Print Show
Sheffield-based print provider, LoveYourPrint.com, has installed a new SinoColor HUV2000 hybrid UV printer provided by supplier China Print Supplies (CPS).
LoveYourPrint.com’s managing director, Jonathan Hopewell, first saw the printer the CPS stand at the Print Show in September 2024.
At the time, Hopewell was looking for a machine that could upgrade the company’s flexibility and speed for its trade, photography, and interior décor customers.
Hopewell then purchased the machine after further discussions with and demonstrations from CPS managing director, Scott Clutton.
The SinoColor from CPS is a 2m hybrid wide-format printer that combines features of roll-to-roll and flatbed printing. The solution boasts a 50mm max print height, 2400dpi resolution, up to 11 colours and a max speed of 84m2/h.
SinoColor printers are designed to be fully customisable, allowing customers to choose the ink configurations they want as well as providing the option of additional colours and specialist ink sets if required.
Explaining his purchase, Hopewell says: “For me, it was all about versatility and reliability. I needed a machine that could handle a broad range of applications, and I wanted to work with a supplier I could trust.
“Scott demonstrated that this printer could handle loads of different applications and printing needs and showed me how it could significantly expand our service offerings. He was very straightforward, showing me exactly what the printer could do, and I felt confident that this was the right printer and partner for us.”
Speaking of his aims when choosing the printer, Hopewell adds: “I target trade customers and photographers with interior decor, including wallpaper, murals, splashbacks, tiles, and more.
“UV is a great ink that can print just as well, roll-to-roll and flatbed, delivering an incredible range of applications. This is what I was looking for – a printer that can do what I need now and adapt to meet my business needs as I expand and diversify.”
