Stibo Complete has been named as the first to purchase a Vanguard VK3220T-HS printer
Stibo Complete, a graphic company based in northern Europe, is the first customer of Vanguardโs new VK3220T-HS printer in collaboration with Antalis.
The high-production LED UV digital flatbed printer with 15 printheads was first unveiled at FESPA Global Print Expo in Munich this year.
Installed at the Stibo Complete headquarters in Horsens, Denmark, the deal with Vanguard Europe and local partner Antalis is predicted to โsignificantly increaseโ sales and reduce outsourcing for Stibo.
Providing up to 70% higher output, Stibo went for three rows of CMYK and three white printheads with its new machine.
Having tested different flatbed offerings in the market, Henrik Mรธlgaard, Production Manager at Stibo Complete says the VK3220T-HS came out strong in all tests โ quality, productivity, and on the drying characteristics at high output.
โWith between 45% and 70% higher output in the flatbed segment than today, it gives us the opportunity to significantly increase sales of flatbed products and at the same time reduce the use of external suppliers,โ Mรธlgaard adds.
The company has worked with Antalis for many years however Vanguard was not known to Stibo before the purchase. However, following print tests, and the backing from Durst, Mรธlgaard says he wasnโt nervous about starting the new partnership.
