As part of National Apprenticeship Week 2026, KGK Genix has launched a new 12-month mentoring scheme for its employees

KGK Genix has launched a new 12-month mentoring scheme, as part of National Apprenticeship Week 2026.
KGKâs new scheme is designed to support personal development, strengthen leadership skills, and invest in the long-term growth of both its people and the wider business.
The programme is designed to bring together junior and middle management with members of KGK Genixâs senior leadership team, creating structured time for knowledge sharing, open conversation, and tailored development.
By focusing on real challenges and individual goals, the scheme aims to go beyond traditional training to create meaningful progression opportunities.
Mentoring is delivered across the companyâs creative, production, operations, and business management departments, allowing it to be embedded throughout the organisation.
According to the company, the response to the programme has been very positive, with a high level of interest from both mentors and mentees.
Graham Pitts, managing director at KGK Genix, says: âIt was great to see so many people come forward for this. Having quality time with my mentee each month means I really get to know what they find valuable to their role and their development. This teaches me much more than a bog-standard training plan.â
Michael Fisher, a project manager at KGK who is being mentored by Graham Pitts, adds: âThis is a great opportunity to learn directly from the head of the business.
âBeing able to talk openly about decision-making, leadership, and the wider direction of the company gives real context to my role and helps me understand how I can develop in a meaningful way.â
Astri Davies, HR manager at KGK Genix, says: âMentoring is something that is quite often the missing piece of the growth and development of the team. Junior and middle management having access to the experience of the senior management team can make a real difference to confidence, capability, and long-term progression.
