Antalis, an international distributor of paper, packaging, and visual communication products, has continued its European expansion with the acquisition of Texo Trade Services (TTS), a Dutch distributor and manufacturer of printable textiles and media.

The acquisition aims to reinforce Antalis’ position in the visual communications sector, which the group has calculated to be a key growth driver.

TTS, which focuses on textile and wide-format printing materials, employs 75 people and distributes its products in more than 70 countries, reportedly generating €34m of revenue in 2024.

The company offers a wide range of printable textiles, sublimation, and protection papers, as well as a wide range of transfer media for garment decoration under its proprietary ‘Texo’ brand.

Floris Jan van den Heuvel, chief executive officer and owner of TTS, says: “Joining Antalis marks an important milestone in TTS’s development.

“With the strength of Antalis’ network and synergies, we will be able to accelerate our international growth and continue to innovate, offering our customers increasingly sustainable and high-performance solutions.”

Antalis has announced a string of acquisitions in the last year across all its core sectors, including a binding agreement with machine supplier Club Groupe in June, as well as both packaging manufacturer The Packaging Company and European print supplier Fortuna Digital in April.

In October of 2024, Antalis announced the purchase of Xerox’s EMEA paper business and French wide-format supplier, Poitoo Adhésifs.

Speaking about the latest purchase, Hervé Poncin, chief executive officer of Antalis Group, adds: “We are very pleased to welcome the TTS teams to the Antalis Group.

“Their recognized expertise in printable textiles and their strong commitment to sustainability are a perfect complement to our visual communication offering. This acquisition further strengthens our position as a leading European partner for professionals in wide-format printing, retail, and decoration while enhancing our presence in the Benelux markets.”
