The company has signed a three-year deal with the football club to provide printing support

Hybrid Services, the exclusive distributor of Mimaki printing technology for the UK and Ireland, is now the official printer partner of Crewe Alexandra Football Club.
The company has signed a three-year deal with the EFL League Two football club to provide technology and support for its printing operations.
The printing that Hybrid will carry out for the club includes signage, first team and replica kits, merchandise, awards, and decor, to be printed by Mimaki’s range of printing technology.
Founded in 1996 by directors Peter Mitchell and Phil Thomas, Hybrid moved to its current location in Crewe in 2006, located close to Crewe’s stadium in the Cheshire town.
Crewe Alexandra was founded in 1877, and the team has played at its Gresty Road stadium since 1906. The stadium has a capacity of just over 10,000.
Speaking of the deal, Mitchell explains: “We’re starting by decorating Crewe Alexandra’s large function suite, that has been renamed ‘The Hybrid Lounge.’
“As a showcase for both the club and the capabilities of Mimaki’s printing and cutting solutions, it’s the perfect opportunity to add some vibrant and engaging design to an area of the stadium that many visitors will see.”
James Beckett, Crewe Alexandra’s head of commercial, comments: “Like any large sports business, Crewe Alexandra has wide ranging printing requirements and we were keen to explore opportunities with Hybrid that could expand our capabilities.
“Hybrid’s involvement allows us to improve the way we present the club in many different ways.”
