Rochester-based outdoor signage company, Fitzpatrick Woolmer, has been chosen for a Royal Warrant, an official mark of recognition issued to companies or tradespeople who regularly supply goods or services to the British Royal Household.

The Royal Warrant, which was presented this year to just 36 non-Warrant-holding companies, is directly granted by King Charles III and Queen Camilla, with applications handled annually through the Royal Warrant Holders Association.

The companies that are granted the warrant are deemed to have demonstrated exceptional standards of quality and service over a sustained period of time. To receive the warrant, a company must have supplied products or services to the Royal Household for at least five out of the past seven years.

Fitzpatrick Woolmer has designed and manufactured bespoke signage for some of the UK’s most popular heritage and family visitor attractions for multiple decades, including the Sandringham Estate, RSPB sites, and National Trust locations.

Fitzpatrick Woolmer has described the recognition as a β€œlandmark moment in our 30-year history,” which marks both β€œrecognition of long-standing excellence and a confident step forward for the business as it continues to evolve.”

Managing director of Fitzpatrick Woolmer, Mark Woolmer, says: β€œThis is an incredibly proud moment for our business. Receiving a Royal Warrant is a huge honour and to be one of only 36 non-Warrant-holding companies recognised this year makes it even more meaningful.”

Fitzpatrick Woolmer has also just unveiled a refreshed brand identity and new website designed to better reflect its capabilities, craftsmanship, and purpose-driven approach.

The updated digital platform provides clearer access to information, improved navigation, and a more engaging way to explore the company’s work across interpretation and wayfinding.

Woolmer adds: β€œAt the same time as the Royal Warrant achievement, our rebrand and new website mark an important step forward for how we present ourselves to the world. Together, these milestones reflect both where we’ve come from and where we’re going next. Above all, it’s a tribute to our team – their skill, passion, and commitment to doing things properly.”rebrand and new website mark an important step forward for how we present ourselves to the world.
