The Sign & Wrap Awards returned on Tuesday night (March 25th), highlighting the work of sign-makers and vinyl wrapping professionals from the UK and Ireland.

The awards show, hosted at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole, included a gala dinner and a live band, with ITV weather presenter Emma Jesson returning to direct proceedings.

The awards show was first launched as the Sign Awards in 2023, changing to Sign & Wrap Awards for the 2024 edition due to the high demand for categories that recognised achievements in the vehicle wrapping sector. There were 14 company categories up for grabs this year including Illuminated Sign, Printed Wrap, Wayfinding Scheme, and Traditional Sign.

Cube Branding walked away with four awards in the wrapping category, namely the winner of ‘Best in Show – Wrap’, Gold in ‘Printed Wrap (car or van)’, Silver in ‘Printed Wrap – Out of the Ordinary’, and Bronze in ‘Full Wrap – Full Colour Change’.

The Best in Show – Wrap category was awarded to Cube Branding for its wrapping of a 1968 Chevrolet Camaro muscle car for the release of the new Nike Jordan shoe.

Speaking of the work, the judges said they “praised this project for its flawless execution and ability to perfectly showcase the product. The colours are spot on, and the complexity of the wrap has been handled with absolute precision, making it a truly standout piece.”

Speaking of the reasoning behind the award, the judges said: “This project is a stunning example of flawless execution, with an impeccable attention to detail that makes it truly stand out. The carefully chosen colour palette enhances its visual appeal, creating a calm and friendly atmosphere that aligns perfectly with the brief.”

Signage Company of the Year (30+ employees) went to Astra Signs, which also won the Silver award for Architectural Sign and Bronze in the Interior Décor category.

Speaking of the awards on LinkedIn after the event, Astra Signs said: “This acknowledgment is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team. A huge thank you to Sign & Wrap Awards for this honour. Congratulations also to all the other winners and nominees, it was fantastic to celebrate the industry’s best.”

Speaking of the Sephora Bullring project, the judges said: “We were captivated by the sheer precision and beauty of this project. The seamless execution, with no visible joins, combined with the striking use of illumination and contrast, creates a truly dream-like façade. A standout piece that exemplifies exceptional craftsmanship and design.”

Signage Company of the Year (under 30 employees) was won by Graffiti Design, with judges praising its ability to “enhance staff training, improve facilities, and explore new opportunities”. Highly Commended in the same category was Off The Wall Creative.

Speaking of the event on LinkedIn, Vantage said: “The Sign & Wrap Awards 2025 was full of energy, inspiration, and a whole lot of talent.
