PLASTGrommet draws attention with largest FESPA presence

Ritrama, a Fedrigoni Group company, will showcase its Platinum Collection of films at FESPA Global Print Expo 2023
Using its space at the upcoming FESPA Global Print Expo next month, Ritrama will showcase its Platinum Collection of polymeric PVC film for plotter cutting.
Since being acquired by Fedrigoni Group in 2020 and merging with Arconvert in the Fedrigoni Self-Adhesives Division, Ritrama has been developing and evolving its range of self-adhesive films for point of sale, vehicles, signage, corporate branding, and architectural branding.
According to Ritrama, its Ri-Mark Series has been redesigned to make projects last longer and stand out better. The Platinum Collection portfolio is made up of 72 vivid and intense colours including 25 colours available with Airflow system.
“From vehicle personalisation to point of sale advertising, to creation of signs for indoor and outdoor decoration, Ri-Mark Platinum is suitable for dry and wet application methods for flat, uneven, and curved surfaces,” says Ritrama.
“The high gloss premium polymeric vinyl, which is UV stabilised, has an external colour stability of up to ten years. Without the risk of colour alterations or discolouration over time, vividness is ensured.”
Ritrama goes on to explain that the CAD-CAM plotter sector can rely on RI-Mark Platinum series materials for “outstanding technical performances” for both adhesion to the substrate, and also in terms of application versatility. This is due to the film’s high conformability and flexibility properties.
Thanks to the solvent-based adhesive used, the materials are durable and resistant to water and solvents. A blue contrast siliconised liner also enables the RI-Mark Platinum to be easily stripped and weeded.
Also on show at FESPA from Ritrama will be the company’s Ri-Jet C50 Ultimate Slide&Tack CAST printing film specifically for car wrapping and vehicle decoration; and the P0100 PVC-free film for visual communication and large-format printing with less impact on the environment.
According to Ritrama, this film is produced with 2% less energy and 32.5% less water, releasing 15.5% less CO2 into the atmosphere.
