Sign & Digital UK will see its 35th edition hosted on a Sunday for the first time due to co-locating with Printwear & Promotion LIVE!

Co-locating alongside Printwear & Promotion LIVE! following the purchase of the event by Datateam, Sign & Digital UK (SDUK) will debut its first Sunday date on February 25th.

Organisers of the three-day event, traditionally held mid-week, say the Sunday date will make the event more accessible for small business owners without losing valuable business time.

The co-locating shows will be held in two halls with a link between them, meaning visitors can easily browse from one event to the next without needing to exit and re-enter through different entrances.

Currently listed on the floor plan are names such as Roland DG, Epson UK, Premier Paper, Soyang Europe/Josero, Vivid Laminating Technologies, and Quality Print Services.

In-show features will include The Sign Studio which will feature daily live demonstrations and practical workshops hosted by sign-maker Paul Hughes. The sessions will cover topics such as vinyl application, vehicle livery, and wall coverings. It will also discuss how to make the move from print wear and promotion to more traditional sign-making.

A popular feature of 2023, the Explains Lounge and Sign Surgery hosted by ISA-UK will return featuring a full programme of presentations and panel discussions presented in a theatre-style setting.

Topics will include how to win more business though textile, garment, and promotional printing; guidance on key issues in sustainability; Women in Sign and Graphics; and apprenticeships and encouraging young talent into the industry.

Craig Brown, chief executive officer of the ISA-UK, says: “Here at the ISA, we love talking about signs. We welcome all visitors to come and speak to us, ask us anything, or simply talk about how their business is going. We are an open and friendly trade association that is here to support the success and wellbeing of our members and the industry as a whole.”

Tony Gardner, event director of Sign & Digital UK, adds: “There are some changes to the show in 2024, including co-location with Printwear & Promotion LIVE! and a first Sunday session. We expect these changes to make it an even more valuable experience for visitors and exhibitors.

“We have seen first-hand how visitors appreciate coming to exhibitions on a Sunday. It gives them a more relaxed opportunity to take in the event, and we have found they stay longer and enjoy more of what is on offer.”
