Paper and material merchants Premier and GPMI created an ‘out of this world’ showcase

As one of the big events in the printed display and signage calendar, Premier always ensures its stand at Sign & Digital UK stands out.
This year saw Premier team up with newly acquired merchant GPMI in order to demonstrate their standout display materials.
The SDUK stand was designed and produced by DCE, a West Midlands based exhibition contractor which installed the many elaborate elements of the space themed stand.
Features included a ‘zero-gravity’ for photos, a Space Invaders arcade console, and a model UFO suspended from the ceiling beneath a large ring banner, making Premier’s stand noticeable from anywhere in the hall.
Premier marketing manager Brad Goldsmith says: “Our stand at last year’s SDUK exhibition was 'Back to the Future' themed and incredibly popular with visitors, our 2023 presence had to have just as big a visual impact, if not better.”
With a range of games, prizes, and fun interactions like Stormtroopers, Darth Vader, and Chewbacca marching around the stand and exhibition hall for photos, Premier achieved its goal in standing out and being noticed.
“We always aim to create a talking point at the exhibition, before, during and after the event,” explains Goldsmith who adds: “We aim to achieve this with a stand that is both aesthetically and physically engaging, incorporating as much of our product portfolio as possible. Based on our badge scans, this year’s SDUK event was our most visited stand to date.”
With sustainability also a big talking point at the show, Premier’s sustainable business director, Hussein Ismail, comments: “The amount of interest in our Carbon Capture initiative was great to see. Seeing how many businesses want to elevate their Corporate Social Responsibility objectives and join the journey to net zero with Premier is encouraging.”
